Students are encouraged to demonstrate the skills that they acquire through private study by performing at WieStudios recitals several times per year and other events.  Dr. Wiest knows that it is important to grow musically through performance whether it be in schools, orchestral settings, church events, care facilities or other therapeutic venues, and the like.  Dr. Wiest serves on the Board of The Harp Foundation as Harp Community Liaison, so she has many opportunities for harpists to give back to others.
